Swivel Basketball Pole The swivel basketball pole features a galvanized round steel post with a diameter of 168.3 mm (6-5/8") at the base and 152.4 mm (6") at the upper curve, with a 6.35 mm (1/4") wall thickness. This pole supports a swivel extension of 2687 mm (8'10") with a 1829 mm (72") radius and 360° rotation, providing flexible use for various basketball installations. Reinforced mounting frame: The metal angle frame measures 50.8 mm x 50.8 mm x 4.78 mm (2" x 2" x 0.188") and attaches securely to the 168.3 mm (6-5/8") tube using 12.7 mm (1/2") hex bolts for a stable and safe installation. Ground anchor plate: The steel plate measures Ø489 mm (19-1/4") x 25.4 mm (1") thick and provides a strong and secure base. The 50.8 mm x 50.8 mm x 6.35 mm (2" x 2" x 1/4") corner reinforcements, angled at 45°, strengthen the structure. Installation is completed using four galvanized J-bolts measuring Ø15.2 mm (3/4") x 609.6 mm (24") for long-lasting stability. Protection and durability: All steel components are hot-dip galvanized after fabrication, providing excellent protection against outdoor elements while extending the lifespan of the structure and reducing maintenance requirements. Certification standards: Welds are CSA W47.1 CWB certified, ensuring quality and safety according to strict industrial standards. Optional accessories include a 3/4" thick rectangular polyethylene backboard measuring 48" x 72", an extra-strength front-mounted rim, and a chain net.
