The adaptor is constructed from long-lasting chrome-vanadium steel, extending its overall tool life beyond that of a similar equivalent. This MAXIMUM socket adaptor features a ¼” hex shank, which allows you to adapt ¼” sockets, nut drivers, and other accessories you need to a useable size for your drill or driver of choice. The adaptor also features a unique torsion zone design that allows it to absorb more torque and reduce the occurrence of bit fracturing, as well as other forms of damage that result from repeated exposure to torque.
