Take your photography to the next level with the FotodioX Mount Adapter expertly designed to connect your Contax 645 lenses to any Nikon F-Mount SLR or DSLR camera body. This high-quality adapter opens up a world of possibilities allowing you to utilize your existing lens collection across different camera bodies thereby maximizing your investment and expanding your creative potential. The FotodioX Mount Adapter is renowned for its precision engineering and robust all-metal construction ensuring a secure tight connection between your camera and lens. This eliminates any play and guarantees smooth mounting for long-lasting reliable performance. One of the standout features of this adapter is its built-in iris which provides a degree of control over the light entering the lens. This is particularly useful when using Contax 645 lenses which have an electronic aperture that won t function with an adapter. The built-in iris ensures that these lenses can still be used effectively maintaining some level of functionality. This adapter is designed to fit all Contax 645 (6x4.5) Mount Lenses onto a Nikon SLR/DSLR camera body. While the lens will fit physically please note that automatic diaphragm auto-focusing or any other functions may not operate correctly while using this adapter. In such cases the stop-down mode will need to be used for metering as the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot in manual mode or aperture priority mode and infinity focusing is guaranteed.By adapting larger format lenses to smaller format sensors the FotodioX Mount Adapter enhances edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize lens distortion and aberration by utilizing the sweet spot or center of the larger lens image circle. In conclusion the FotodioX Mount Adapter is a versatile tool that bridges the gap between your Contax 645 lenses and Nikon F-Mount camera bodies offering a cost-effective solution to expand your photographic capabilities.
