This compact adapter is part of FotodioX s extensive range which includes adapters for various formats from large to small and caters to a variety of sensor sizes. One of the key benefits of adapting larger format lenses to smaller format sensors is the exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness it provides. By utilizing the sweet spot or center of the larger lens image circle this adapter helps minimize lens distortion and aberration enhancing your image quality.Crafted with premium-grade materials the FotodioX Pro Adapter features a smooth surface for effortless mounting and allows for infinity focus. The leaf spring design ensures a tight secure connection between the lens and camera body eliminating any play for a stable shooting experience. This adapter also incorporates a built-in aperture controller offering control over the lens iris. While the lens will fit physically please note that automatic diaphragm auto-focusing or other functions may not operate correctly. In such cases the stop-down mode will need to be used for metering as the lens s aperture cannot be controlled by the camera body. However you can still shoot in manual mode or aperture priority mode with guaranteed infinity focusing. Please note that the aperture markings on the adapter are based on a 50mm f/1.9 lens. When used with any other lens the aperture markings may not represent the true aperture used but you will still have full control over the lens iris. With the FotodioX Mount Adapter you can unlock new possibilities in your photography journey making the most of your DKL lenses on a Canon EOS EF-Mount camera body.
