Fotodiox Mount Adapter for Contax 645 Lens to Sony Alpha DSLR Mount Camera

If you re a photographer looking to maximize the potential of your SLR or DSLR camera the FotodioX Mount Adapter is an essential tool. This adapter allows you to use your existing Contax 645 lenses on any Sony Alpha DSLR camera body eliminating the need for additional lens purchases. The FotodioX Mount Adapter is part of a comprehensive range of adapters catering to various formats from large to small. By adapting larger format lenses to smaller format sensors such as large format to medium format medium format to 35mm or 35mm to micro 4/3 you can achieve exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness. This is due to the smaller image field which helps minimize lens distortion and aberration by utilizing the sweet spot or center of the larger lens image circle.Constructed with high-standard precision the FotodioX Mount Adapter features a leaf spring design that holds the lens securely to the camera body eliminating any play between the two. Its all-metal design and polished surface ensure smooth mounting and long-lasting durability. One of the standout features of this adapter is its built-in iris which provides some degree of control over the light entering from the lens. This is particularly useful for Contax 645 lenses which use an electronic aperture that won t function with an adapter. The built-in iris allows the lens to maintain some functionality. While this adapter allows all Contax 645 (6x4.5) Mount Lenses to fit on a Sony Alpha (A-Mount) DSLR camera body please note that automatic diaphragm auto-focusing or any other functions may not operate correctly while using this adapter. In such cases stop-down mode will need to be used when metering as the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. However you can still shoot in manual mode or aperture priority mode. Plus infinity focusing is guaranteed ensuring you can capture stunning images every time.
