Fotodiox CY-EOSR-PRO Lens Mount Adapter for Canon RF
Where versatility meets quality the Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter is the perfect solution for photographers looking to utilize their Contax/Yashica (CY) SLR lenses on a Canon RF (EOS-R) Mount Mirrorless Camera Body. This high-quality durable adapter is part of Fotodiox s extensive range of lens adapters the largest in the world offering endless possibilities for mixing camera and lens platforms or rejuvenating vintage glass.Designed with the professional photographer in mind this innovative adapter ensures a precise fit and solid connection between your lens and camera with no play gap or wiggling. Crafted in Fotodiox s factory with meticulous attention to detail the Pro Lens Mount Adapter is built to withstand the rigors of professional use providing a stress-free experience with no adjustments needed.Constructed with precision all-metal and chrome-plated brass mounts this reliable adapter offers a secure and solid fit that will not degrade over time maintaining the integrity of the lens-camera connection with every use. Please note that this is a manual adapter so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body such as autofocus AE metering and image stabilization will be disrupted. Focus-By-Wire lenses such as Canon s STM or Nikons AF-P require power to engage the manual focus rings on the lens. Since manual lens mount adapters do not power the lens these lenses will not be able to focus. For optimal results set your exposure manually or meter using your camera s Aperture Priority (stop-down) mode. If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring the lens aperture will revert to its default position which depending on the lens is either stopped down to its largest f-stop or opened up to its smallest f-stop. In conclusion the Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Contax/Yashica (CY) SLR Lens to Canon RF (EOS-R) Mount Mirrorless Camera Body is a versatile high-quality accessory that enhances the functionality of your photography equipment.
