These clamps can be tightened with a flat or cross-headed screwdriver or a 7mm spanner and any excess length can be easily trimmed with a pair of pliers.To protect the surface where the clamps will be placed the set comes with rubber bands that can be cut to the desired length with a cutter or scissors (not included).
